A Burning Building: The Immiseration of the Population
In this article I bring together some statistics regarding the anomie that is occurring in American society. This country is built on plunder, rape, genocide, and slavery, has produced hell.
The United States has seen an increase in many indicators of social despair as we have transitioned into the third decade of the millennium. The most important social indicators are life expectancy, maternal mortality rate, suicide rate, homicide rate, and drug overdose rate. How long people live, if they can live to old age and if people are taking lives, either theirs or others, are the most important indicators of a society. It does not matter if people are able to consume if they are dying like flies. Written below is an overview of alarming statistics about the decay of US society. I want to remind everyone that the United States being a “shining city on a hill” is a myth. The United States, through all its imperial excesses, is and will remain a cesspool build from the blood of millions of indigenous and African people. Listed bellow are key statistics regarding the conditions of the population of the United States with specific focus on the Black population and the indigenous population.
According to reporting done by the New Jersey Monitor, maternal mortality rates have done nothing but increase since the 1990's. Mortality rates have gone from 12.7 per 100,000 live births to 32.2 per 100,000. Of course, in a white supremacist society, the impact is greater for black and indigenous women than for white women. For black women, the increase is from 26.7 per 100,000 to 55.4 per 100,000 and for indigenous women it is 14 per 100,000 to 49.2 per 100,000. A lot of this increase is due to our living conditions. Mothers in this country having to work after childbirth due to lack of maternal leave (paid or unpaid), decreasing health of the overall population, general wretchedness of the U.S medical system and the pervasive racism within it. The US obviously ranks poorly compared to the rest of the west, but also ranks horribly when compared to the Chinese, which had a rate of 18.3 per 100,000, but ranks near the Russians at 34.5 per 100,000.
The overdose rates in this country have also done nothing but increase. The number of people who have died from drug overdoses has gone from 20,000 in 1999 to over 100,000 in 2021. The US drug overdose rate is now 32.1 per 100,000, up from 21 per 100,000 in 2019. The United States has the highest overdose death rate in the world. The second being Scotland in the United Kingdom at 26 per 100,000 people and Canada being the second sovereign country at 20.9 per 100,000 people. Louisiana has the third highest overdose death rate in the country, being 55.9 per 100,000 people in 2021. The second and first were Tennessee and West Virginia at 56.6 and 90.9 per a hundred thousand respectively in 2021. Synthetic opioids account for 66 percent of these deaths.
The suicide rate in this country has increased from 10.7 per 100,000 in 2001 to 14.1 in 2021. The suicide rate is highest for men over 75, being over 40 per 100,000. Men continue to be much more likely to commit suicide than women with men being 22.8 per 100,00 and women being 5.7 per 100,000 in 2021. The suicide rate is almost double of the U. S’s peer competitor China, being 8.1. The suicide rate is highest for indigenous peoples and second highest for whites, being 13.8 per 100,000 and 7.1 per 100,00- for women and 42.6 per 100,000 and 28 per 100,000 respectively.
The homicide rate is an issue of great concern to our people. Black people make up 58 percent of all homicide victims. Homicides in this country account for 43 percent of U.S firearm deaths. The homicide rate for black people is 24 per 100,000, compared to the national homicide rate of 6.7 per 100,000 as of 2021. It was stated that in Shreveport, 90 percent of all homicide victims are black men. The homicide rate and the suicide rate show the level of desperation and shortening of temperament of a nation’s people. White people continue to kill themselves while we black people continue to kill each other. The overall homicide rate has grown from 5.32 per 100,000 people in 2016 to 6.7 per 100,000 people in 2021. Police have killed a record number of people in 2022. At 1176 people in 2022, police killings account for about 6 percent of homicides. The black homicide victimization rate is about 24 per 100,000 people. This is near parity with Mexico’s homicide rate of 24 per 100,000 people, meaning we are in a “low intensity insurgency” situation. Louisiana continues to have the highest homicide rate out of any state, being 15.5 per 100,000. This state and this country continue to be a violent cesspool, much more violent than the West and almost as violent as the rest.
Life expectancy continues to decline in the US. In 2020, life expectancy declined 1.8 years and in 2021 it declined 0.9 years. This is not just from covid-19. U.S life expectancy peaked at 78.9 years in 2014. Large reasons for the decline have been the increase overdose rate and the spike in homicides that occurred during the covid-19 pandemic. As is typical in a white supremacist society, the life expectancy of black and indigenous people is the lowest and have experienced some of the biggest drop. For black men, life expectancy dropped 3.3 years. Compare this to a 1.5 year drop for white men. The life expectancy for white and Asian peoples are 76.4 and 83.5 respectively while the life expectancy for black and indigenous peoples in 2021 is 70.8 and 65.2 respectively. We are living shorter and shorter lives. For one of the first times in this country, our children will live shorter lives than we are.
These numbers were put together to make it clear than the population of the United States is going through a period of crisis. These indicators of anomie in a society show we are experiencing imperial decay. The U.S empire is burning slowly and will soon experience collapse. The collapse probably will not occur this decade, nor will it happen next decade, but this country is heading straight for collapse. I believe we have chosen the wrong path during the civil rights movement. What black radicals and black nationalists have argued is that we need out own state, our own sovereignty. The civil rights movement was won out by the liberals. These same liberals adopted free-market fundamentalism as their religion and out traitorous black elite made a deal. They agreed to stay out of international politics and economics in exchange for “integration”. The liberals of the civil rights movement have integrated us into a burning building, and we need to get out as soon as possible.
